Fivetech Quarter-turn series offers one second panel secure, plainly quarter-turns the knob to complete fastening. Quarter-turn significantly reduces assembly time, but equally achieves fastening function and tightness. We elevated Quarter-turn series into three different levels of design respectively – Quarter-turn, Pinpoint Quarter-turn and Auto-lock Quarter-turn, all of which acquires what Fivetech represents - tool-less, easy assembly, quick release and effort-saving.

Quarter-turn is pressed-in to one panel to lock with another, it features stronger spring force; therefore, engineers need only to turn 90 degrees to lock and another 90 degrees to unlock, achieving best product assembly performance.

New Quarter-turn series offers three knob designs – wing, mini wing, and half wing type, all of which correspond with ergonomic purposes, providing an instinctive and comfortable hand grip when locking and unlocking panels. While normal screws have round knobs, Fivetech considerately designed our new Quarter-turns with winged knobs, especially suits hand operation for 90 degrees locking function. Fivetech values customization, specifications and knob color options can be customized according to customer requirements.

Quarter Turn series proposes three types for different customer solutions – Auto-lock Quarter-turn, Pinpoint Quarter-turn, Quarter-turn.

1. Fivetech Auto-lock Quarter-turn is designed with the strongest spring force, resulting in automatic locking function. One press on the knob, Auto-lock Quarter-turn automatically turns 90 degrees counter clockwise to lock, of which saving the most assembly time as fasteners.

2. Pinpoint Quarter-turn as named, provides a 90 degrees positioning function, assuring full locking action without concerns of locking incompletion or 180 degree locking failure.

Fivetech’s new breakthrough – Angle Series, lateral installation and vertical actuation. While traditional screws are limited by the installation direction, Fivetech’s Angle Series isn’t constrained, securing vertical positioned panels or PCB.

Both Angle screw and Angle Plunger are designed into sets, with a ferrule and a vertical positioned screw/ plunger going through the middle of the ferrule. Unlike traditional screws where the screws’ install direction is paralleled with the fasten direction, Angle Screw and Angle Plunger’s installation direction works vertically with the fastening direction. Consequently, not only does Angle plunger/screw secure paralleled panels, they are able to secure vertically placed faceplates. Angle series products can be installed on the sides of chassis or any vertically located faceplates.

Imagine two faceplates located vertically but gapped in between. Whenever the two faceplates move to join, they are required to be locked together. How would you secure both faceplates with the least amount of fasteners? Now imagine two faceplates located vertically right beside each other. The faceplate lying down actuates vertically. It has to be fastened every time it reaches a certain height, and unfastened when it drops below the height. How would you secure the two faceplates with the most efficient cost? Or imagine a faceplate with a hood, whenever the hood opens, it must be secured with the faceplate below. How would you secure the lid and the faceplate using the most convenient method? These are times when Angle Series shines. While normal screws can only secure one faceplate at a time, Angle Screw/ Angle Plunger taking advantage of its lateral installation style, are able to secure any vertically placed panels simultaneously.

In addition, while Angle products are not limited by the location of install direction as traditional fasteners, there isn’t constrains of where it should be locked on the other vertical panel. It can be locked at any height, any depth, anyplace according to customer requests. Angle Series is convenient, it’s flexible and it’s multifunctional.

While Angle Screw and Angle Plunger possess the same concepts, there are certain differences between Angle Screw and Angle Plunger. Angle Screw is designed to be much smaller than normal screws. It’s shorter in length and width; it is able to fit any narrow spaces or limited areas where normal screws can’t achieve. Angle plunger offers automatic locking function, adding convenience and efficiency to the design.
