Fivetech’s new product - Spring Spool, adds strong spring force to the design, enhancing on product fastening tightness.

New in Spring Spool enhances on spring force. Strong spring force increases the spool’s securing tightness. The spring becomes extremely intense, thus contributing greatly to its product fastening tightness. Spring Spool also adds a stopper piece in between. Using the strong force of the spring along with the stopper piece, Spring Spool tightly secures any panels in between its cap and the stopper piece. For another advantage, with the spring force as strong, it leaves no floating level between the spring spool and the fastened panel. When secured so tight, Spring Spool does not make noise when engineers move chassis, nor does it loosen when vibration if caused.

Also, its spool design presents easy assembly and quick release purposes. No thread screwing is required for fastening, simply press the panel downwards through the bigger hole of the gourd hole, then slide the panel rightwards to lock the panel into the smaller one. It secures as tightly as any other fasteners, while using only seconds.

Taking the advantage of its design, Spring Spool’s locking direction differs from normal fasteners, from a vertical locking to a horizontal locking direction. It widens the product application spheres. While it still possesses normal fasteners’ function, it can additionally be pressed-in to the sides of chassis or faceplates, thus secures panels or faceplates on the sides of chassis. Not only does it save up ground space, it makes the best usage of a three-dimensional space. Spring Spool comes in useful for space limited chassis where vertical actuation can’t be operated. For better, Spool’s horizontal locking system saves actuation space. Spring spool saves space, saves operation time and provides the easiest fastening method.

Spring Spool can also be used as wall hangers. Press-in the Spring Spool onto a wall, then one can easily hang any panels onto the wall, saving ground space. Moreover, Spring Spool can also be installed onto door leaves of chassis or enclosures, especially ideal for space limited chassis and enclosures.

Fivetech 60 and 6R Handle Series focus on standard specifications, comfortably fit standard rack server designs.

 

60 Series in low carbon steel is the most common and vintage design. Made of carbon steel enhances 60 series’ durability. Carbon steel is sturdy making 60 series handle less likely to deform due to time or weight. Its cylindrical design provides comfortable and ergonomic hand grip. 60 series Handles in low carbon steel is in 5 cm (1.97”) pitch, suitable for all 2U rack servers. Fivetech’s 60 series comes in anodized clear surface or anodized black, which adds another layer of high-end texture.

60 Series in carbon steel also provide 16.5cm (6.5”) and 15cm (5.9”) pitch design comfortable for all 4U design. Apart from the usual nickel finish, 60 series Handles for 4U uses carbon steel for the best durability

 

60 Series in plastic offers different features comparing to 60 Series in carbon steel. Made of plastic, the handle features light weight and anti-rust. Plastic also provide non-slip function. Fivetech plastic handle uses insert molding technique, where the plastic is ejected around the two nuts covering them at the end of the handle. it is a one stop station production saving production time and cost. Moreover, Fivetech’s plastic handles conquers plastic material’s disadvantage – it offers a UL 94 V-0 fireproof level. 60 Series in plastic is in pitch 3cm (1.18”), suitable for 1U rack servers. Light, small, and fire endurable. The 3cm pitch plastic handle is also a great match for rack server powers.                       

 

Apart from 60 Series handles, 6R series chooses aluminum, featuring light and flexibility. Aluminum handle being flexible is less likely to break or crack. Additionally, aluminum offers good corrosion resistance capability; thus it’s unlikely for 6R series handles to rust over time. Moreover, it widens the handle’s pitch to 7.65 cm (3.01”) fitting a 2U server to a 3U one. Appearance wise, 6R series also provide anodized clear and anodized black surface.

Fivetech’s screw series product elevates, providing more effort-saving, more time-saving and customized Latch Screw.

Fivetech Latch Screw simplifies the steps of securing chassis. Some servers are designed longer and wider. With Fivetech’s Latch screw, it is able to secure both ends of the chassis with just one screw. Latch screw is made much longer than normal screws. Taking the advantage of its length; it screws in from one end of the chassis and goes through to secure the entire chassis.

Fivetech Latch screw is also used to lock panels or PCB with gaps in between. Some servers require panels or PCBs to be placed in parallel but with space in between. Traditionally it would be difficult to secure both panels or both PCBs but still leave space in between. Fivetech Latch Screw takes advantage of its length, and safely secures paralleled panels or PCBs despite the gap in between.

 

 

In addition, Latch Screw embraces Fivetech’s feature of tool-less design. No extra equipment is needed for screwing Latch screw or unscrewing. It represents easy-assembly; thus effort-saving. Consequently, saving another amount of time for engineers, helping them achieve their best working efficiency.
